Joy, this is for you! :O) (I want to say that I love you. I have been thinking about you a LOT. I don’t give you enough credit for how amazing you are. You are a BEAUTIFUL best friend! I am truly honored to have you so close to my heart. Thankyou for accepting me even with all of my flaws and mess ups.)
1 But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
3 For I am the LORD, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I give Egypt for your ransom,
Cush and Seba in your stead.
4 Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give men in exchange for you,
and people in exchange for your life.
5 Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
I will bring your children from the east
and gather you from the west.
6 I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’
Bring my sons from afar
and my daughters from the ends of the earth-
7 everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made.”
Girls: Women: You are beautiful!
Today Crystal and I had some bonding time. Together and with God. Today we prayed for YOU. Today we also prayed for the women on the streets.. The prostitutes. God has hit us hard with reality and we hope to make a change. A couple months ago we went to a Shane & Shane concert where we heard about an organization that went out at night to give letters of love to the prostitutes. So, today beggining our own journey and hoping others wll join we began to write these women letters. I’m not sure when they will recieve them.. but we plan to hand them out. God overwhelmed me with compassion for them and humbled me as we prayed for them tonight. One simple letter of love might be just what they need. They might have never felt beautiful.. but WE can change that.
“God help us to pour out your love on these women. Pour it on them like buckets of water.” -Crystal Ward —Drench them God!
